PulsePoint is a non-profit organization that works with public safety agencies around the United States and Canada to improve survivability for sudden cardiac arrest events as a novel citizen responder health app.

The pulse can be measured using the radial artery in the wrist or the carotid artery in the neck.

PulsePoint uses a standardized set of incident types normalized across all Public Safety Answering Points (PSAP) and Computer-aided Dispatch (CAD) system vendors. If an incident type has a push notification available it is indicated by the associated app checkbox image below the description.

Understanding MTN Points And Data Conversion

If you are not the listed responsible party for an AED but would have access to it in an emergency, you can request alerts by tapping the Request AED-needed Alerts button. Open the AED record in the PulsePoint AED app. Scroll to the AED-needed Alerts section. Tap the Request AED-needed Alerts button.
