🛠️ Standing for Integrity in Engineering 🛠️As an Engineer👷♂️ , I've encountered numerous situations where the easy path seemed tempting and the hard one, too challenging. Yet, I am trying to always held on to a principle that resonates deeply with me:"Right is Right, even if no one is doing it."The reason of this post is that quite recently, I came across this image, or even better... this message📨 .This message is more than just words—It is and it should be a guiding light💡 in our day-to-day operations. The reasons why it’s so important ⁉ :🚀 Commitment to Excellence: Striving for excellence means more than just achieving technical perfection. It means adhering to the highest ethical standards, ensuring our work benefits society and stands the test of time.🌍 Sustainability First: In every project, we prioritize sustainable practices. Even if it’s not the norm, we take the necessary steps to reduce our environmental impact and create a better future for all.👥 Team Integrity: Leading a team by example means upholding integrity in every decision. By doing the right thing, even when it’s tough, we foster a culture of trust and accountability.🚛 Customer Trust: Our customers count on us to deliver safe, reliable, and innovative solutions. By maintaining our commitment to doing what’s right, we ensure their confidence in our products and services remains unshaken. In a fast-paced⚡ and ever-evolving industry🚚 , where the pressure to cut corners can be intense🔥 , it's our steadfast dedication to integrity that sets us apart. I’m proud to be part of a team 🙏 that embodies 🤜🤛 these values, driving the future of transportation with unwavering integrity ✨ .#Automotive #Engineering #Ethical #Innovation #Sustainability #Leadership #Integrity #CustomerTrust #DoWhatsRight

Really enjoyed reading this one 👇Especially in our SAP community the roles of Engineering Manager, Senior Engineering Manager, and particularly the Staff Engineer is rather difficult to grasp. If you are curious about these roles, then I highly suggest to read Alex Ewerlöf’s blog post. And yes, I have seen the great stuff good staff engineers can do, it is a role many ERP implementations and transformations need. I consider it some sort of mix between Engineer, Architect. and Project Manager with focus on Dev, Ops, and whatever Xyz you might add to that. My elevator pitch usually goes something like this: ”A staff engineer is someone who solves complex engineering challenges and helps get them done”. #productorganisation #productmodel #staffengineer #devops

Engineering Managers, are you struggling to attract the best engineers within the industry?I have put a case study together for a project we have recently completed for one of our clients. We were up against it on this one, but yet still managed to attract and secure engineers within a 2 week timescale!!!If you're struggle, utilise a specialist. Give me a call to have a discussion on how potentially we can support you in the future.

How does Systems Engineering affect you in the real world? 🫣 I’m travelling South East Asia, where let’s say, ‘safety standards are optional’… ☢️The way implementation of things such as rolling stock, electrical wiring and roads etc. creates serious amounts of hazards for the general public. ⚠️Systems Engineering is one of the fail safes of the engineering team to turn around and say, “Hey that’s not safe, do it again”. In turn, increasing levels of safety and reducing the risk to you! 🫵🏽What do you think? Got a better example? ⬇️
